本研究では,集積の経済と地域間の人口移動を考慮した空間応用一般均衡分析を実施する.そのために,高山ら1)が開発した空間応用一般均衡モデルを改良し,地域内輸送費用を導入した分析枠組みを開発する.そして,輸送費用の変化が我が国の人口分布に与える影響について,モデルで予測される結果と実現象とを比較し,これらが概ね整合していることを示す.さらに,我が国の総人口減少の影響分析例を通じて,開発したモデルにおいてヒステリシス現象が見られることを明らかにする.
